• Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.

We are seeking a highly motivated, Environmental Scientist, Geologist or Environmental Engineer to join our growing team. This opportunity includes the ability to expand your technical capabilities within the support of an established environmental consulting company.
Under supervision of senior staff, this individual will provide support to ongoing office and field work. Office tasks may include: review and interpretation of data and preparation of reports and work plans; task and project planning and management; assistance with business development and preparation of proposals; client, subcontractor and regulatory agency interaction; development and implementation of remedial strategies; and remedial design. Field activities may include: installation of soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells; collection of groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil, soil vapor and air samples; operation of air monitoring equipment; testing to evaluate groundwater aquifer characteristics; remedial construction management; NAPL/DNAPL recovery; and operation, maintenance and monitoring (OM&M) of remedial systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support environmental site assessments, remedial and pre-design investigations, test borings, well installations, environmental sampling of various media, aquifer testing, pilot tests, OM&M, community air monitoring programs (CAMP), and technical oversight of subcontractors.
• Support New York State Brownfield Program (NYS BCP) and New York City Voluntary Cleanup Program (NYC VCP) projects.
• Support remedial construction management services including coordination with design engineers and clients, specification and submittal review, project tracking and documentation, participating in or leading construction team meetings, acting as a client liaison, assisting with the preparation of final engineering or construction completion reports.
• Support data management and analysis, preparation/review of work plans and technical reports, and assist in preparation of presentations and proposals to clients and regulators.
• Support the development/refinement of investigation and remedial strategies for various types of sites and contaminants, and the design and installation of remediation systems.
• Interaction with subcontractors, clients and regulatory agency representatives.
• Assist with proposals and business development activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
• B.S. in Environmental Science, Geology or Engineering; M.S. is a plus.
• EIT, P.E., GIT or P.G. is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of previous professional experience in environmental consulting.
• Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Enviroscience Consultants is currently seeking an aggressive, focused, disciplined Business Development team member. Responsibilities include prospecting, networking, and setting appointments. You will be responsible for a sales quota and report to Enviroscience’s General Manager.
In this role you will become educated about environmental regulations and services, and will join our team in working with prospects in the Tri-State area. No two days will be exactly the same. You will work collaboratively with all departments within the company to maximize opportunities and sell services that address various contaminants for customers across vertical markets. We pride ourselves on our teamwork.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage sales cycle, aggressively pursue, and close sales to attain quota monthly.
• Build a working knowledge of the regulations and environmental hazards by jurisdiction by working with Enviroscience’s team of subject matter experts as well as by doing independent research.
• Represent the company and identify decision makers in the market who can influence change and educate on how Enviroscience Consultants provides services to support and impact the community.
• Contact qualified prospects through email and phone, leveraging content and marketing materials created by Enviroscience team. Become active in educating our services by using social media, with the help of Marketing.
• Network with industry groups and build relationships to establish Enviroscience as an environmental expert and to put us in a position to become the environmental partner to new clients.
• Assist the Enviroscience team in gaining competitive service knowledge and in identifying new service opportunities. Partner with Marketing on customer intelligence and opportunities.
• Target and follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing/field activity.
• Prepare concise and accurate proposals to customers and other required documentation as needed.
• Assist in maintaining current client relationships, as assigned.
• Participate in tradeshows including but not limited to booth assembly and teardown, selling on the tradeshow floor, etc.
REQURIED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Three or more years sales experience with demonstrated ability to achieve goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications sales management software and CRM
• Strong ability to learn and educate prospective clients
• Goal driven and self-motivated with an inherent curiosity
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
